Three Ghana Premier League clubs have set their sights on securing the services of former Asante Kotoko midfielder Enoch Morrison in the ongoing transfer window.
Morrison is currently a free agent following his shocking departure from the Ghanaian giants this week. The Porcupine Warriors have opted to sever ties with the attacking midfielder despite his impressive performance in the recently concluded season, where he made 22 appearances in the Ghana Premier League, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
The 24-year-old joined Kotoko in August 2022, signing a three-year deal with the club. Despite having a year left on his existing contract, the Ghanaian giants have parted ways with the player.
According to reports in the local media, Hearts of Oak have identified the Kotoko outcast as a perfect addition to their squad for the upcoming campaign and are keen on securing his signature.
However, they face stiff competition from Medeama and Ghana Premier League champions Samartex, who have also expressed keen interest in the former King Faisal midfielder.
Meanwhile, the player’s representative will not rush to secure a move for the talented midfielder. They will weigh up their options before making a decision on his next move.
Following the closure of the 2023/24 season, clubs are in the market searching for quality players to bolster their squad for the upcoming season.
