Former Accra Hearts of Oak attacker, Kofi Kordzi wants the Rainbows to bring in experienced players for the 2024/25 season.
Kordzi believes the poor performances of the players is partly because they are playing with inexperienced players and the only means for his former employees to get back to their glory days is to sign experienced players.
“Majority of the current players are very young. The young ones are playing now but We played with old and experienced players during our time. Things have changed nowadays. Study the big teams and you will see one or two experienced players commanding but Hearts of Oak is lacking these kind of players. They have to look for about two senior players. “They have to bring in some experience players to support the young ones.,” he told Accra-based Mothers FM
Hearts of Oak have struggled in recent seasons, narrowly avoiding relegation last year as well. This contrasts sharply with the club’s history of dominance both locally and internationally.
They are the second most successful club in Ghana, with 21 league titles, and have also won the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup.
