Asante Kotoko Sporting Club on Saturday, 6th July 2024, announced the signing of Sudanese striker AbdoelKarem AbdoelRahman from Hay Alwadi Nyala, strengthening their attack with a talented young forward.
The 21-year-old joins the Porcupine Warriors on a season-long loan deal, with an option for a permanent transfer.
AbdoelKarem has spoken out for the first time after he passed the mandatory medical examination on Saturday. He revealed his excitement for joining Kotoko.
“I feel so fantastic for joining the biggest team in Ghana, and I’m very happy for this opportunity,” AbdoelKarem told ghanasportspage.com
He also commented about his playing position and the number of goals he scored for his team, Al Wadi, before the break of their top-flight league in Sudan.
“I’m a typical striker, and I play the No.9 position, and I scored 14 goals last season.”
The striker also shared his objective for joining the great team in Ghana, Asante Kotoko.
“I aim to fight for my team and let Asante Kotoko win 2024/25 Ghana Premier and go for the African Champions League.” He concluded.
AbdoelKarem is regarded as one of the most promising U-23 strikers in Sudanese football, AbdoelKarem AbdoelRahman rose through the ranks of Al Wadi, showcasing his skills and potential to become a key player for the Porcupine Warriors.
