Ghana Premier League side Hearts of Oak has completed the signing of defensive midfielder Razak Kasim, further strengthening their squad ahead of the new season.
The 30-year-old former Great Olympics player was a free agent after his contract expired at the end of the 2023/24 season. Despite being linked with Asante Kotoko, Kasim ultimately chose to join the Phobians after weeks of negotiations.
Kasim made 30 appearances for Great Olympics during the 2023/24 season, despite the team’s relegation.
His addition marks Hearts of Oak’s third signing of the transfer window, following the acquisition of Nations FC duo Asamoah Boateng Afriyie and Michael Mensah Awuah.
