Hearts of Oak have reportedly agreed personal terms with Medeama SC left-back Fatawu Sulemana and are pushing to secure his services in the ongoing transfer window.
The 20-year-old has been outstanding since joining the Mauves and Yellows in 2019, playing a pivotal role in the club’s first-ever Ghana Premier League success in the 2022/23 season.
After a brief stint with Sudanese heavyweights Al-Merrikh SC, Sulemana returned to Medeama SC for a second spell earlier this year.
In the recently concluded season, Sulemana made 13 league appearances in the second round, consistently delivering strong performances.
According to local reports, Hearts of Oak have had successful private discussions with the player and are now in talks with Medeama SC to finalize the deal in the coming weeks.
Coach Aboubakar Ouattara has identified Fatawu Sulemana as a key addition to strengthen their squad for the next season, seeing him as providing strong competition for Dennis Korsah for the starting spot on the left side of defense.
