Asante Kotoko sets a date and venue for pre-season ahead of the 2024/25 season

Asante Kotoko is set to travel to South Africa on August 15 for their pre-season preparations ahead of the 2024/2025 football season in Ghana

This initiative, organized by the club’s life patron, Otumfour Osei Tutu II, aims to provide the team with an opportunity to train and bond in a fresh environment, gearing up for the challenges of the upcoming season.

The pre-season tour will feature a series of friendly matches against local South African clubs, offering the players valuable experience and exposure ahead of the 2024/25 season.

This follows Asante Kotoko’s recent triumph in the Democracy Cup, where they defeated their arch-rivals Accra Hearts of Oak to secure the maiden trophy.

To further bolster their squad, the Porcupine Warriors have made several new signings after parting ways with 18 players after the 2023/24 season.

The South African tour marks a significant step in their preparation for a successful campaign, as they look to build on their recent success and make a strong start to the new season.
