Asante Kotoko Sporting Club cruised to a convincing 3-1 win over lower division side, Rainmakers FC in a test match today, Saturday, 10th August.
Having impressed in their previous game, new signings, Albert Amoah and Dauda Saaka produced another scintillating performance to register their names on the score sheet.
At the other end, Peter Amidu Acquah who shined against Arthur Football Academy last weekend appeared on the score sheet again, helping the GPL giants to take another step ahead of their game against Medeama SC.
Coach Prosper Ogum and his technical team crucially deployed strong set-up for the game, with Frederick Asare starting in post. Samba O’Neill led the defence alongside Esmat Abdalhamid, Emmanuel Kotei and Joseph Ablorh.
Samuel Tenadu made his debut. The former Legon Cities midfielder lined up in midfield with Elvis Kyei Baffour and Albert Amoah.
Dauda Saaka played upfront and was supported by Emmanuel Antwi.
Elsewhere, Guinean goalkeeper, Mohammed Camara had the chance to taste some minutes after coming in for Frederick Asare. Justice Blay also came off the bench for Joseph Ablorh.
