The Ghana Football Association and the referees appointment committee has named match officials to handle Ghana’s version of El classico on Sunday, 15th December 2024.
Asante Kotoko will hosts Accra based giants, Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Stadium at 15:00GMT in the ongoing Ghana Premier League matchday 13 fixture.
Ghana FA has appointed Prince Okoto Ntiamoah to be in the center. He will be assisted by Richard Narteh and Alex Osman. Maxwell Owusu will be on the field as fourth referee together with Tasembedo Osman as match Commissioner.
Before traveling to Kumasi for the showdown, Hearts of Oak thrashed second division side immigration FC 4-0 in the round 64 of the MTN FA Cup competitions.
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko also hammered first division side, Future Stars FC 2-0 to progress to the 32 stage of the FA Cup competition.
With a slim two-point lead over Hearts of Oak in the Premier League standings, Asante Kotoko will be aiming for victory in the upcoming Super Clash.
