Asante Kotoko Sporting Club has reacted to the tragic incident that that happened during their game against Nsoatreman FC on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors had hoped to extend their winning streak, but the incident that saw the game suspended for over an hour deemed their spirit of snatching the maximum points, having lost four players (Justice Blay, Patrick Asiedu, Mohammed Camara and Michael Kyei Dwamena) through red card.
However, Gabriel Bonnah’s 78th minute strike secured the host the vital win and their second victory in 12 games.
The press statement released by the management of the Porcupine Warriors condemned incident.
Sadly, the club has also confirmed the death of their staunch supporter and communicator Nana Pooley, who was tragically stabbed.
