Ghana captain Andre Ayew has made it clear that he is not considering retirement from the Black Stars, insisting that he remains committed to representing the national team.
Speaking on his future with the Black Stars, the 34-year-old emphasized his passion for playing for Ghana and his desire to continue contributing to the team.
“I love what I’m doing, and I’m not ready to stop,” Ayew stated as quoted by 3Sports.
The veteran midfielder has been a key figure for Ghana for over a decade, featuring in multiple Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournaments and the FIFA World Cup.
Despite his significant contributions to the team, he has been sidelined for almost a year since new head coach Otto Addo took over.
The Le Havre man is rumored to make his return to the Black Stars following his recent performances in the French Ligue 1.
Ghana will face Chad and Madagascar in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in March.
