UAE-based side Dubai City FC have officially submitted a proposal to Asante Kotoko for the transfer of defender Samba O’Neil, sources have confirmed.
According to reports, the Dubai outfit is prepared to pay $100,000 to Kotoko as a transfer fee for the highly rated centre-back.
In addition, the proposed deal includes attractive personal terms for the player, with Samba set to earn $10,000 per month in salary alongside an $80,000 signing-on fee.
The offer is now under consideration by Kotoko’s management, who will weigh the financial package against the importance of the defender to the team’s sporting ambitions.
Samba O’Neil has been incredible for Kotoko this season with many rating him as the best center half in the GPL.
