Asante Kotoko SC Guinean goalkeeper Mohammed Camara has seen his 2025/26 season with the club end, following punishment melted him by the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
According to the Disciplinary Committee, the first choice goalkeeper of the Ghanaian heavyweight was handcuffed of putting the name of the game in disrupt during Asante Kotoko SC league game against Karela United FC.
In their statement, disclosed that Camara exhibited an unsporting behavior towards the match referee in the aforementioned game and upon facing the Disciplinary Committee found guilty and charged.
He’s ban five matches and also fined GHS 20,000. Meaning, his season with Asante Kotoko end’s and will not make appearance in their remainder of campaign.

Mohammed Camara, goalkeeper of Asante Kotoko SC has been handed a five (5) match ban, fined GHS 20,000 and formally warned by the Disciplinary Committee for misconduct following their Ghana Premier league game against Karela United FC.
The player was found guilty of unsporting behavior towards the match referee in that league game against Karela United FC.
The ban takes immediate effect, and the fine is to be paid within 14 days of notification of the decision.
