Former Black Stars forward Augustine Arhinful has thrown his support behind newly appointed head coach Carlos Queiroz, highlighting the Portuguese manager’s vast experience and leadership qualities.
Speaking to Graphic Sports, Arhinful described Queiroz as a seasoned figure capable of guiding the team both tactically and mentally.
“He’s an experienced coach, a father figure, 73 years old, and he’s been in the business for a long time,” Arhinful said.
The former Borussia Dortmund striker emphasized that beyond tactics, Queiroz’s greatest strength could lie in his ability to manage and motivate players.
“So, psychologically and in terms of motivating the players, he will always be capable of doing that,” he added.
Arhinful’s endorsement adds to growing confidence in Queiroz’s appointment, as Ghana looks to rebuild and return to the top of African football under the experienced coach’s guidance.
