Ghanaian midfielder Daniel Kofi-Kyereh has ended his stint with Bundesliga club SC Freiburg, following elapse of 2025/26 season.
The attacking midfielder endured a long time anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), sidelining him for close to three years. He returned to the pitch in April, 2026. He’s decision to leave SC Freiburg is as a result of the injury-hit spell.
He managed 18 appearances, 2 goals and 1 assist before a devastating ACL injury.
After recently returning, Kyereh impressed with the U23s, registering 2 goals and 2 assists in 8 games. The Black Stars midfielder will become a free agent on July 1.
