Black Queens head coach Kim Lars has expressed confidence in his squad ahead of Ghana’s opening fixture at the 2026 CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
Ghana will begin their Group D campaign against tournament debutants Cape Verde today at the Moulay Rachid Stadium in Casablanca, with the Swedish tactician backing his players to make a strong start.
After they clash with Cape Verde, the Black Queens will face Cameroon on Sunday, August 2, before concluding their group-stage matches against Mali on Thursday, August 6.
