Newly appointed Asante Kotoko Brand and Partnerships Manager David Obeng Nyarko has expressed his gratitude following the club’s announcement of his return to the Porcupine Warriors family.
The club officially announced Nyarko’s appointment on Thursday, July 31, 2026, confirming his return to the role he previously held as Communications Director.
Taking to social media to react to the announcement, Nyarko wrote, “Grateful to be back. See you at work.”
The post, accompanied by the club’s colours, reflects the former Communications Director’s enthusiasm about returning to the Kumasi-based giants.
Nyarko previously served as Kotoko’s Communications Director before his initial departure. His return comes as the club looks to strengthen its commercial and branding activities ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The Asante Kotoko board, led by chairman Kwasi Appiah, has been focusing on strengthening the club’s commercial and partnership strategies. Nyarko’s appointment is expected to play a key role in this effort, as the club looks to build on existing partnerships while exploring new commercial opportunities.
