The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has informed the general public that the international friendly between Ghana and Morocco has been canceled.
The decision was reached after Gambia defeated Ghana 2-4 and both parties agreed to call it off in ordertoavoid extra disgrace. GFA statement reads:
“The GFA sincerely apologizes to all stakeholders, fans and media partners for any inconvenience the cancellation may cause.
The Association will in due course announce new arrangements for the Black Stars as part of preparations for the upcoming AFCON 2027 qualifiers.
We thank the public for their understanding and continued support for the Black Stars”.
