However, the Black Stars engaged themselves in two high profile friendly games against Ivory Coast and Morocco with Ghana failing to record a win in any of the games.

The Black Stars were held to a 0-0 draw at the Cape Coast stadium in a friendly match, a game Ghanaians seems not to be impressed with the performance of the team.

However, Ayew expressed his satisfaction after the Ivory Coast draw but insisted that the team need to do more before the start of the World Cup qualifiers in September.

“2 good games vs 2 top teams. Lots of encouraging stuff but still more work to do to be ready for the WCQ in September.. thanks for ur support we keep going” the former Swansea City star tweeted.
