Accra Hearts of Oak are back in action this weekend as they look to continue their ascent towards the upper reaches of the BetPawa Premier League table.
They can close the gap on Aduana Stars with a victory over Kotoku Royals at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Hearts are aiming to follow up their recent form in their last two games by extending their unbeaten run to three.
They beat Asante Kotoko 1-0 in Accra and played out a 1-1 draw with Bibiani Gold Stars at the Dun’s.
They are the favorites to win on Sunday but Coach David Ocloo has claimed to the club’s Communication Team that Kotoku Royals will be a difficult side to beat.
“With Kotoku Royals, is like the same games. ‘He who is down fears no fall’. I know they will come with double or triple energy but we are going to take it like any other game, work hard and get the maximum points. Those are the difficult games because like I said, they are down there so they will come with double or triple energy and it is very difficult because if you underate them they will surprise you.”
He further urged his players to be focused and discussed how they will approach the game.
“They players should just be focused and work like they’ve been doing and I know we will come out victorious.
“We are going to approach the game like we approach any other game, fully determined, going in to work hard and try and win it. We can’t promise but we are going to work hard and get the maximum points on Sunday.”
The main concerns for Hearts heading into the game relate to their striking department.
They have scored only two goals in their last two games in ongoing campaign.
