Ashantigold SC sensation Appiah McCarthy has extended his contract with the Miners for two more seasons, the club has announced.
The former Asokwa Deportivo star has already spent four good seasons with the Obuasi based side, and has now extended his stay for two more years. McCarthy joined the four times premier league champions in the 2016/2017 and has since been an integral part of the Miners squad.
This new agreement will see him spend two more years with the club, until July 2022.
The 24 year old played a total of nine (9) games in the truncated 2019/2020 league season, after recovering from an injury which kept him on the sidelines for close to two months.
This comes as a major boost for the team as part of preparations towards the 2020/2021 season.
