Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club’s head of affairs manager, Kwesi Appiah has advised the club’s circle in China ‘Circle 0086’ fans ahead of their upcoming leadership elections.
Circle 0086 election committee has fixed a date to elect their chairman to stair affairs for the next four years. According to Circle 0086 election committee, they have scheduled the 30th of January 2025 as election day.
“The leadership of China Circle 0086 extends their seasonal greetings to the members on this platform.
Following the end of the current leadership’s tenure and following the clauses outlined in Articles 16 and 20, we are excited to announce that Mr Thomas Kojo Eduku has been nominated for the 2025-2028 term candidate and the election is being scheduled for 30-01-2025.
“This election notice is specifically for our esteemed supporters’ group, China Circle 0086”. The circle’s general secretary Isaac Sarfo released it.
Ahead of the election, Kwesi Appiah, the club’s Head of Sporting Affairs, has urged the circle to ensure the elections are conducted peacefully and in line with constitutional guidelines. Thomas Kojo Eduku is the sole candidate contesting for the vacant leadership position.
“We thank Kotoko fans in Asia especially, China for supporting the club up to this stage. They should try to make peace during the election day, for those who win or lose, we should all come together to support the club in good faith to make the club the greatest. I wish you all the best to have a peaceful elections”. Kwesi Appiah told ghanasportspage.com.
The Shenzhen Ghanaian-based candidate, Thomas Kojo Eduku will read his manifesto this Wednesday, January 15 to the general members of the circle at 20:00 Beijing time and noon GMT,
