Asante Kotoko interim head coach Prince Yaw Owusu remains optimistic about his side’s Ghana Premier League title ambitions despite their goalless draw against 10-man Vision FC.
Kotoko were unable to capitalize on their numerical advantage, but Owusu insists the title race is far from over.
“The title chase is not over yet,” he told the media after the match.
The coach pointed to other results over the weekend as proof that the competition remains wide open.
“Have you checked on Hearts, Medeama and the others’ results over the weekend? The race is still open. We just have to prepare ourselves and then see what we can do when we go to Tamale,” he added.
Kotoko will now shift their focus to their next assignment, a Week 25 clash against Karela United at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale as they look to keep pace in the title hunt.
The Reds are fourth on the league table with 39 points, trailing leaders Medeama by 7 points.
