New Black Stars goalkeepers’ trainer Dan Gaspar has paid his first visit to Benjamin Asare at the training base of Accra Hearts of Oak SC in Pobiman.
The visit forms part of Gaspar’s early assessment of goalkeeping options within the domestic scene as he begins work with the Black Stars technical setup.
Sources indicate that the session provided an opportunity for the newly appointed trainer to closely observe Asare’s performances in training, while also engaging with the club’s technical team on his development.
Gaspar’s presence highlights a growing focus on monitoring locally based players, as the national team seeks to strengthen competition across all departments, particularly in goal.
Asare, who has been a consistent performer for Hearts of Oak and Black Stars, will be hoping to impress and retain his position in the squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
