The Black Princesses of Ghana have travelled to Kampala, Uganda, this afternoon to search for a qualification ticket over the Queen Cranes of Uganda with a 2-1 advantage. The young ladies held their official training session at the FUFA Stadium in Kampala on Friday evening.
Head Coach Charles Sampson is aiming to qualify the team for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup to be played in Poland.
“We have trained, and I trust that the work we have done is enough to qualify us for the World Cup.
“We are hoping to get a good game tomorrow and secure qualification. The players are fully fit and ready for the final game.”
Ghana will play Uganda in the second leg at the Kampala FUFA Stadium, Kidiba, on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 13:00 GMT.
