Black Stars captain Jordan Ayew has confirmed Ghana’s readiness for England as the 2026 FIFA World Cup tournament hit up in Group L. The four time African Champions are bill to face European giants England on Tuesday in their second group match.

Speaking to the Ghana FA website, in an interview the former Leicester City forward stressed that the team remains focused on taking the tournament one match at a time despite the magnitude of the upcoming fixture.
“We have two important games left. We take it game by game,” Ayew said.
“We are focused on getting the three points in the next match, and after that we will think about the last game.”
