Ghana’s Jordan Ayew has assured that the Black Stars will come better in the ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup, following sudden growth in the team.

The West African country is currently, managed by 73-year old Portuguese trainer Carlos Queiroz who boost of immense experience coaching at the FIFA World Cup. Carlos previously managed South Africa, Egypt, and Iran at the Mundial.

He also coached Portugal and Colombia.

His job with Ghana begun in April, when he was appointed to replace Otto Addo. Despite, a short timr with the four times Africa Champions several Ghanaians seems excited with his performance especially guiding Ghana to a goalless draw against England last Tuesday.

Captain of the team Jordan Ayew featured in Carlos Queiroz first two matches at the global showpiece and held on to resist pressure but reveal the Black Stars will give their all as they can, however taking it game by game.

The Black Stars continue to fight for a top spot or second in Group L, having amassed four points in two matches thus picking win over Panama and draw with England.

“This is just the start, we will give our best as far as we can, taking it game by game”

“We will do our best and get a convincing win as well”- the Black Stars captain Jordan Ayew expressed this during visit of dignitaries to the team.

Ghana who is on the brink of qualification for the Round of 32 ahead of their final group fixture will face Croatia on Saturday, June 27, with kick-off scheduled for 21:00 GMT.
