The Black Stars will on Thursday, November 12, 2020 host the North African counterparts in the first fixture of a double header tie at the Cape Coast stadium, before travelling to Khartoum, five days later for the reverse fixture.
Sudan started a preparatory camp in Khartoum on Friday (30 October 2020) and traveled to Addis Ababa on November 4th, they then faced the Ethiopian national team in a friendly game today ( 6 November). They will leave for Accra tomorrow morning with an Ethiopian airline.

Coach Hubert Velud who took over Sudan’s coaching job last February will have his first competitive outing against Ghana, and he admitted the mission is going to be a tough one. The coach believes that, his team is now 100% prepared and ready to beat Ghana on Thursday.’We have a good group of players whose spirit will help us to get the best results, now my team strong to beat Ghana” he said after the match against Ethiopia.
Group C Matchday 3 will take place in Cape Coast, Ghana on 12 November, Thursday while matchday 4 is scheduled at Hilal Stadium on 17 November, South Africa will host Sao Tome and Principe.
Ghana tops the group with 6 points, South Africa and Sudan follow with 3 points while Sao Tome and Principe are on the last of the group without any point
