Players and Technical staff of Asante Kotoko SC will undergo COVID-19 test today ahead of their Champions League preliminary match against FC Nouadhibou.
The mandatory test will take place this afternoon before players will leave for Accra for the blockbuster encounter.
The Porcupines are conjoining the pieces to help them secure qualification ahead of the Mauritanian giants.
The first leg ended 1:1 draw and any win for Asante Kotoko will take them to the next stage of the competition.
Asante Kotoko fraternity is hopeful that with the return of Latif Anabila who sustained injury in the club’s first league match against Techiman Eleven Wonders will solidify the midfield of the team for them to produce the choicest performance on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Emmanuel Kayekeh and Osman Ibrahim who couldn’t finish the entire duration of the first leg in Mauritania are back from injury and are expected to start.
The big match comes off at the Accra Sports Stadium at 3:00pm.
