Former Ghana Premier league midfield dynamo Kofi Abanga says Asante Kotoko SC will finish the fourth position in the ongoing season.
The confident Abanga believes that Kotoko players after six rounds of matches have shown little desire to win the League.
According to the player who was snatched from Kotoko at the eleventh hour to join Hearts of Oak, the new players of the Africa club of the Century have failed woefully to give the best spectacle of their game which will make it extremely difficult for Kotoko to win the league title.
In an exclusive interview with Ghanasportspage.com, Abanga said, “Kotoko will finish the fourth position of the 2020/21 season following their player’s inability to lift their games.”
He continued, ” It is not as though Kotoko Management did bad recruitment. They signed quality players just that what we’re used to signing them, they are yet to exhibit that which is incomprehensible.”
The Porcupines who are at the 6th position on the league log, have managed only two wins with four draws and one defeat after spending a huge sum of money on the market to augment their squad.
The likes of Emmanuel Kayekeh, Muniru Sulley, Fabio Gama, Evans Adomako, Latif Anabila are all yet to live up to expectations.
