Asante Kotoko have arrived in Algeria ahead of the final group match of the CAF Confederations Cup against E.S Setif on Sunday. The Porcupine Warriors traveled to North African country hoping for a miracle to advance to the group stage of the competition.
Coach Abdul Gazale and his boys need to beat E.S Setif 2-0 on Sunday to seal qualification into the group stage of the competition. The ‘Reds’ were beaten 2-1 by the Algerian giants in Accra last week in the first leg fixture.
Asante Kotoko left Ghana on Saturday morning at 2:00 am with a chartered flight for the ES Setif game on Sunday, February 21, 2021. The team arrived in Algeria with 20- man squad for this crucial game.
The Porcupines will play as guests to the Algerian giants in the return fixture of the final play-off of the 2020/21 CAF Confederation Cup competition.
