Aduana Stars could not dust themselves as they were reduced to 2-3 defeat at the hands of WAFA at the Sogakope Park this afternoon.
The “Ogya” lads went into the encounter with gust and strength but the Academy boys were ruthless towards them this afternoon.
As early as the 6th minute Augustine Boakye had registered the first goal for the home side. Justice Tortsutey doubled WAFA’S lead in the 21st minute.
Aduana Stars afternoon turned into a nightmare as Atte Yousifou cushioned the home side lead in the 37th. Sam Adams reduced the deficit for Aduana in the 42nd minute. Notwithstanding the stroke of counters the visitors registered they went into recess with a humiliating defeat.
However the 2010 Premier League champions came strongly in the second in the quest to draw parity. Atte Yousifou scored an own goal to reduce Aduana’s deficit. It ended 3-2 in favour of the host.
