The medical team appointed by FIFA/CAF for the two World Cup African qualifying matches taking place in Ghana is currently conducting the mandatory Covid-19 tests.
Players, officials, ball boys, and all involved are expected to perform the tests and be cleared before they can take part in the match. Ghana hosts Zimbabwe on Saturday at the Cape Coast Stadium but before that, Cape Verde plays as guests of Liberia at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Dr. Christiana Baah is leading the medical team for the exercise at the hotels where the teams are lodging and are so far done with almost all teams ,with the results expected to be released to the teams soonest.
