Legon Cities FC head coach, Maxwell Konadu says he is hyped up ahead of his side’s game against Hearts of Oak in the 21/22 Ghana Premier League(GPL) opener on Sunday.
The former Asante Kotoko trainer says his charges are also in good mood to face the reigning GPL champions.
“Our moral right now is playing one of the biggest clubs in the country as our first game the first league match is against Accra Hearts of Oak and we are excited, we are happy to play them in the first game. That is our motivation anyway.” He told club’s media
The Black Stars assistant coach added that his team’s objective is to finish top half of the league table at the end of the season.
“First eight, first six that is our target for the season anyway so we are we working towards that and we are very sure that we can achieve that.”
Hearts of Oak will host the Royals at Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, October 31 on matchday one of the new term.
