Premier league greats Accra Hearts of Oak travel to Tarkwa to face Medeama Sporting Club in what promises to a battle for superiority in a rescheduled Ghana Premier League (GPL) game this afternoon.
The Ghana Football Association announced Wednesday, 12 January, 2022 as the new date for the postponed fixture to be played, and all is cleared as the Yellow and Mauve welcome the Phobians to the Akoon Park this afternoon in Tarkwa.
The match week six (6) fixture was originally scheduled to have been played on Sunday, 5 December last year, but had to be postponed due to Hearts of Oak’s participation in the CAF inter club competition. The match will be kick off at 3:00pm local time at the Tarkwa Akoon Park.
Both clubs have all key players available for the game, and are poised for action as the hosts look forward to redeem themselves after dropping two points at home against Berekum Chelsea last week in their week 12 encounter of the GPL.
Hearts of oak are 7th on the league log with 17 points out of 10 matches, two points behind their opponents Medeama who lie 5th with 19 points.
