Scores of Ghanaian football fans have left the internet and social media breaking lose after the 2022 FIFA World Cup final draw held in Doha on Friday, has produced a Group H membership comprising Ghana and Uruguay coming to face each other again after Luis Suarez’s handball eventually denied Ghana a maiden semi final birth at the World Cup in South Africa 2010.
Ghana and Uruguay met at the quarter finals of the 2010 FIFA World Cup finals in South Africa, where the two sides settled for a 1-1 draw after the 90 minutes of regular play, thanks to goals from Sulley Ali Muntari and Diego Forlan for Ghana and Uruguay respectively.
