Yusif Alhassan Chibsah, coach Ibrahim Tanko and Mr. Yaw Amoh Sarpong have withdrawn their bid to partner owner Alhaji Karim Grunsah in running premier league club King Faisal, Fox FM sports desk has learned.
The three joined forces to takeover the club after former Ghana international Samuel Osei Kuffour refused to accept the offer to takeover the cash trapped club. According to our gathering, the withdrawal is due to disagreement over who owns what percentage in the club.
The three, Chibsah, Tanko and Amo Sarpong had reached agreement with Grusah in which 70% of shares in the club will go to the trio, while 30% will go to Alhaji Grusah. However, Alhaji Grunsah, upon further consultations, returned to now demand 40% of the shares contrary to the initial agreement reached with Chibsah and co.
Consequently, the trio have decided to withdraw entirely from the partnership deal, leaving the club in a situation where it may find it extremely difficult to succeed in the upcoming season due to financial constraints.
Yusif Chibsah, a former player of the club and a player agent, has decided to takeaway all the players he brought to the team as part of the partnership deal.
It remains to be seen whether or not Alhaji Grunsah will rescind his decision and succumb to the initial 70-30 agreement. If he does, Tanko, Chibsah and Amo Sarpong will likely return to the deal.
