Asante Kotoko are in advanced talks with Ghanaian car manufacturer, Kantanka Automobile over a partnership deal.
The Porcupines since the appointment of Nana Yaw Amponsah and his Management has been working towards securing partnerships and sponsorships to help put the club at the desired height.
Nana Yaw Amponsah’s vision is to establish the club to be among one of the best on the continent.
Reports in the local media suggest that the Porcupines have reached the apex of discussion with the local-based automotive company and the deal could be finalized before the commencement of the 2021/22 league season.
Details of the yet-to-be finalized sponsorship package is not yet known but we understand the ongoing discussion is very positive.
Kantanka automobile is a Ghana-based automotive company that designs, manufactures, assembles and sells luxury cars – and it was established in 1994 by Kwadwo Safo Kantanka and incorporated as a limited liability into the manufacturing of automotive components.
Should the deal be finalized, Asante Kotoko will become the first Ghana Premier League side to be sponsored by Kantanka automobile.
The management members and the players would also be given Kantanka cars with a flexible payment plan.
