Asante Kotoko loaned goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad has confirmed his Berekum Chelsea departure following the expiration of his one season loan deal with the Berekum base premier league club.
The former Ghana u17 star spent the 2019/2020 league season on loan at Berekum Chelsea from Asante Kotoko, but has returned to his mother club after ending his loan spell.
The 18-year old national team goalkeeper took to social media to express his magnitude of gratitude to “The Blues” for a successful smooth relationship and support he enjoyed during his loan period at the club.
“Thank you Berekum Chelsea for the love and support during my loan stint at Berekum”, Danlad wrote on Twitter. “We were destined to complete the season successfully but it didn’t end the way the #Bibires wanted it. I am proud to have been part of this amazing football club. I wish you all the best, see soon in the upcoming season”, he concluded.
Danlad gave a good account of himself during his loan period, keeping nine clean sheets in almost twenty matches he played for the Blues.
