Black Queens midfielder Ernestina Abambila has completed a move to the Estraliga side KKPK Medyk Konin on a short term deal.
The Polish top level Women’s football league side has officially announced the signing of the Ghanaian international, whose quality on the field of play is undoubtedly one of the best even seen in women’s football.
The 2014 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup star Abambila joins the four times champions of the Polish Women’s premier league after leaving Spanish side Sporting Club Huelva following the expiration of her contract at end of the season.
The Black Queens super star, Abambila, 21, boasts of the feat as the first Ghanaian to score in the UEFA Women’s Champions League while playing for FC Minsk in the group stage of the 2017/2018 UEFA Women’s Champions League season.
The experience Ghanaian female star has previously played for Assi IF, Mississippi Valley State University, Youngstown State University as well as Aris Thessaloniki. At the national level, the Takoradi born star has represented Ghana at all levels of the women’s national teams comprising of the Black Maidens (u17), the Black Princesses (u20) and now with the senior national female team, the Black Queens.
