Premiership side Berekum Chelsea have re-signed former Asante Kotoko defender Ahmed Adams as part of their quest to augment the squad for the upcoming league season.
Ahmed joined Asante Kotoko from the Berekum based Blues where he spent about two seasons before moving to Ashantigold SC in Obuasi where he spent few months training with the Miners, but failed to sign a deal with the four times league champions.
The flamboyant defender has been without a club since leaving Asante Kotoko in 2018 despite spending short spells with Ashantigold and Saudi Arabian side Al-Shoala.
The 2017 WAFU Championship winner has returned to his former club Berekum Chelsea where he has been colourfully welcomed by the fans who must have missed him all these while.
” Ahmed Adams IS BACK! “, the club confirmed via its official twitter account.
