General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association Prosper Harrison Addo has hinted very soon clubs will be forced to hire License A coaches as their Assistant coaches.
According to the club licensing requirements, only CAF Licence “A” coaches can hold the position of head coach for Premier League clubs.
The GFA has since enforced the rules making a lot of coaches to lose their jobs.
Speaking at the Northern Edition of the GFA/ SWAG capacity building, the General Secretary hinted very soon only License A coaches will be allowed to assist the coaches.
” We are looking to upgrade the requirements. Which will see only License A coaches will be allowed to be assisting in the Ghana Premier League. Very soon we will get there.
” Very soon, there will be courses for License B, A, C, and Pro to upgrade our coaches. But currently, we have a lot of A coaches in the system.” He added.
