Ghana Premier League side Karela United have confirmed the transfer of star forward Solomon Sarfo Taylor to Danish second tier side Vendsyssel FF on a four deal after his glamorous season with the Aiyinase based club.
Taylor was very key for Karela in the just ended Normalization Committee (NC) Special tier one competiton, where he found the net five times for the tournament finalists.
Taylor was linked to many clubs in the local league after his sensational exploits in the NC competition including Asante Kotoko, Ashantigold SC, Aduana Stars and Hearts of Oak, but Karela insisted the deadly goal poacher is due for a move abroad and will not be available to join any local club.
The influential striker nicknamed ”Aguero” by Karela United fans managed to score 43 goals in 88 matches for Karela over the last three seasons, and has earned call ups to the national U-23 and Black Stars B teams for upcoming national assignments.
Taylor has been unveiled by Vendsyssel on Thursday after completing his move, where he expressed his delight for the move as he gets ready to wow his new fans at the Nord Energi Arena.
“I am very happy to be here, it is an ambitious club with good facilities and I hope we can make it to the Super league next season”, Taylor stated during his presentation this evening.
