Asante Kotoko striker Kwame Opoku will not be heading off to USM Algers despite huge interest from the Algerian giants.
USM Algers were reportedly interested in taking the lethal forward in a deal worth $300,000 with the Porcupines demanding $400,000 for the striker, however, a deal is a long way off from happening.
Kwame Opoku has so far enjoyed a reasonably good season with seven goals in the league and a goal in Kotoko’s failed African campaign after scoring against ES Setif in Accra
However, his management has kicked against the USM Algers deal from happening after informing the Chief Executive Officer, Nana Yaw Amponsah of their intention.
