Kotoko circles in China vice-Chair Prince Kenneth Amoah A.K.A Barrister has asked Asante Kotoko CEO Dr Kwame Kyei to stop playing “ludo” games with Asante Kotoko. Talking to Ghana Sports Page 1 in China, he alleges that Dr Kyei is running the team as his personal property without any proper structures in place. He is of the view that Dr Kyei is a total failure and concrete examples of his failure hinges around how he sacks coaches and players, very poor arrangements for hotel accommodations for management team members, and even how he handled Sogne Yacouba’s case. “I don’t think that he, Dr Kwame Kyei, uses his personal money to settle Kotoko cases. He is a businessman and he is using Asante Kotoko to support his business”, he screamed. He believes he has only caused financial distress for the team. He questioned the whereabouts of the CAF Confederation Cup competitions gate fee proceeds. Amoah added that, due to this poor management style, the supporter-base is falling. He is certain the newly formed Kotoko circles in China has even run down due to Dr Kwame Kyei. “Dr Kwame Kyei must resign so Kotoko can find someone who is well educated in sports to be in charge of the club”, he charged. He claimed also that the current camp branding is at its worst ever. “Dr Kwame Kyei is a businessman and not a football administrator. He doesn’t understand modern football”, Amoah told www.ghanasportspage.com in China. His concluding words were that Dr Kwame Kyei needed to be sacked.
