Accra Hearts of Oak are thrilled by the return of Emmanuel Nettey, Abdul Aziz Nurudeen and Mamane Lawali to training on Wednesday as the team continued preparations ahead of the premier league match week nine game on Saturday.
The trio joined the team to train on Wednesday at the St Thomas Aquinas Park after receiving clearance from the club’s medical team. The return of the trio is a great sigh of relief for coach Kosta Papic ahead of their league match against Eleven Wonders at the Accra sports stadium.
Nigerien international Lawali had been on the sideline with a minor injury which ruled him out of the club’s last game against Elmina Sharks last Sunday. Abudul Nurudeen has also made a quick recovery after picking up a late minor injury at training ahead of the game against Elmina Sharks, which subsequently ruled him out of the match which eventually ended in a 1-1 stalemate.
Netter on the other hand, has recovered from an injury which has kept him out of action for the past few weeks, and has been passed fit for training by the Hearts of Oak medical team. However, the skillful midfielder is still on the road to full recovery and according to the club, “the medical team is strictly observing his recovery and will let the technical team know when he is fully fit to make an appearance”.
Earlier this week, striker Kojo Obeng Junior also made a return to training after recovering from an injury that has kept him out of action for a while, and is expected to be fit for the game against Eleven Wonders this weekend.
