Legendary Daniel Amokachi has been captured in a video at the Monshood Abiola Sports Stadium whiles teasing Ghana over a poor pitch ahead of the decisive game between the Black Stars and the Super Eagles.
Ghana may move the venue for the first league of the decisive World Cup qualifier play-offs.
This is due to the bad state of the Cape Coast Stadium which was initially approved for the game.
There have been doubts about the pitch in Cape Coast after it hosted the country’s 65th Independence Day parade.

Although renovation works have begun on the field, it seems there might not be enough time to finish it before the clash.
The Monshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja is poised to host the Super Eagles decisive return leg match against rivals Ghana in the 2022 World Cup playoffs in March.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has already inspected the stadium and it is expected the arena will soon get the green light to host international matches like the World Cup playoffs.

The pitch of the stadium has been brought back to life courtesy of a private-public partnership initiated by sports minister Sunday Dare and it was there the Eagles trained before they jetted out to Cameroon for the AFCON.
In a video, Amokachi said, “Here is Manshud Abiola Sports Stadium. We are all ready. Look how beautiful the pitch is, look how beautiful the stadium is but some people are still looking for a venue, some people are under confusion. You know who am talking about.”
