The kick off time for the Ghana Premier League (GPL) matchweek 21 game between champions Accra Hearts of Oak and Ashanti Gold Sporting Club has been moved from its original scheduled time, ghanasportspage.com can confirm.
The game was which will be televised live on StarTimes Adepa TV was originally scheduled to kick off at 3:00pm on Sunday, but the time has now been changed to 6:30PM.
This has been done to pave way for the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier second leg between Ghana’s U-20 Women’s national team, the Black Princesses and their Ethiopian counterparts, which has also been scheduled to be played at the same venue as the Hearts of Oak vs Ashanti Gold game, the Accra sports stadium.
The Black Princesses beat Ethiopia by 0-3 in Addis Ababa, and will host them for the second leg on Sunday at the Accra sports stadium. The game will be the final hurdle for wither of the two sides to secure tickets to the World Cup in Costa Rica.
