The title holders, Accra Hearts of Oak will host Division One League side, Skyy FC in the 2021-2022 MTN FA Cup quarter finals at the Accra Sports Stadium this afternoon.
The Phobians are bound to make history and defend the title as they expect to seal a win in today’s fixture after suffering a controversial narrow defeat to their rivals Asante Kotoko on Sunday during a week 24 game of the GPL.
It is likely that the two experienced players, Sulley Muntari and Samuel Inkoom will be deployed for action against the visitors.
Inkoom is set for his maiden start after joining the club. He came in as a substitute in their last fixture against the Porcupines in Kumasi.
Muntari has also returned and expected to battle out in this afternoon’s showdown after missing their last three games.
In our probable lineup, the team is expected to make some changes from the squad that started against the Porcupine Warriors.
Below is the probable lineup that Hearts of Oak coach, Samuel Boadu could use against the lower-side.
Coach Boadu is likely to maintain Richmond Ayi in post as Richard Attah is still under a treatment after picking up a knock during the game against Aduana Stars.
At the defense, impressive Mohammed Alhassan will start along side James Sewornu as centre backs, together with former Basel player, Samuel Inkoom on the right and the Black Stars defender Dennis Korsah playing from the left.
Captain Fatawu Mohammed will be watching the game from the bench as the newly signed Inkoom is set to grab his first start.
The stylish midfielder, Salim Adams will partner Abdul Aziz Nurudeen and highly-rated Sulley Muntari.
At the striking force, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh will stand alongside Kwadwo Obeng Junior and Isaac Mensah whiles Kofi Kordzi is once again expected to start from the bench together with Patrick Razak.
