Accra Hearts of Oak are set to be without four of the top stars as they trek to Bechem for the premier league match week 28 encounter against Bechem United due to injuries and suspensions.
Coach Samuel Boadu’s side will be without influential defender Samuel Inkoom, who will be missing the game due to accumulated yellow cards. The former Asante Kotoko right back, after making his Hearts of Oak debut against Asante Kotoko, has picked up three yellow cards, and will not be available for the crucial game against Bechem United.
Inkoom received the yellow cards in the league matches against Elmina Sharks, Accra Lions and lastly, against Dreams FC.
Other players who will not be available for the trip to Bechem include UEFA Champions League winner, Sulley Muntari and Kofi Kordzi. Muntari has been out with knee injury, which ruled him out of Hearts of Oak’s last league game against Dreams FC. The former Inter Milan man trained with the squad on Thursday, but it’s unclear whether his absence from the squad list for the Bechem trip is for medical reasons or the usual distance issues.
Striker Kofi Kordzi will as well not make the traveling squad to Bechem per our findings, despite taking part in training on Thursday.
