Asante Kotoko, coached by Prosper Nartey Ogum defeated Olympics, handled by Annor Waker by a lone goal courtesy Camerounian goal assassin Frank Thierry Mbella Etouga at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday. Kotoko thus does a double-over Olympics and wraps the league title for a record time in Ghana.
Despite whipping his senior colleague again, Prosper Ogum did not show any arrogance at the post-match, choosing to embrace Annor Walker before exchanging a few words as the Oly coach took his turn to talk to the media.
But not before the Kotoko coach had agreed to take pictures with the mediamen around and finally the Oly coach. The comment Prosper passed before taking the pictures was an interesting one, with a journalist overheard asking “Is Prosper this humble as always or he does do it to deceive”?
“Master and apprentice, here comes my master “, were the words of Prosper as they embraced, to the admiration of the media men around, some of whom clapped at the gesture, unlike previous scenes where some even exchanged harsh words after matches.
Annor Walker is the coach of the Black Stars team B with Prosper Ogum as his assistant.
